Welcome to EKA135! Today we are joined by Jake and Alex from subtitles., an emo band based in Arizona but also based in France? That's right, we got the transcontinental Twenty One Pilots here. Jake is in Arizona and Alex is in his native France, but somehow they are making magic happen from across the planet. Last month they released their debut album "subtitles. on" on March 19th and we were able to talk to them about making the album with Kris Crummet and JoJo Centineo as well as a ton of other topics. We talked about their origins, making things work long distance, the differences between France and the US and the Ernie Ball battle of the bands to play the Vans Warped Tour.
