• Texas flooding: Edouard’s remnants produced 12 high water rescues in Hardin County, roughly 13,000 customers without power, an open Red Cross shelter in Livingston, and a Neches River crest forecast just after midnight tonight.

• Pennsylvania major flooding: Bald Eagle Creek near Beech Creek Station is forecast to crest at 15.3 feet, approaching the January 1996 flood of record, with homes in the cottage area cut off at 15 feet.

• Wildfire posture: National Preparedness Level 5 holds with 84 uncontained large fires, 3.94 million acres and 20,245 personnel committed. Year to date acres are 163 percent of the ten year average.

• Active fire evacuations: McCully in Oregon, Sinlahekin, Three Queens and Goat in Washington, Plaskett in California and the Colorado Fire in Mariposa County all have evacuation orders or warnings in place.

• Hawaii surf hazard: Hurricane Lowell remains a Category 4 about 450 miles south of Hilo, with a High Surf Advisory for south facing shores and Kauai Emergency Management in a monitoring posture.

• Storm damage in the Northeast and Midwest: Nearly 83,000 DTE customers remain out in Michigan, three tornado warnings and a 76 mile an hour gust hit central New York, and flash flooding briefly closed the Great New York State Fairgrounds.

• Water systems: Yukon, Oklahoma is under a citywide boil water notice, Mississippi lifted two boil water alerts, and Puerto Rico may resume Carraizo rationing for 183,000 customers as soon as Sunday.
