Most people who would call themselves Christians (or even just “religious”) think of worship as something they do inside the church. When we think of ministry, we also often think “inside the church.” We forget that all of our lives—including our jobs—are also worship. We tend to see our work as a necessity to put food on the table and forget that God has an interest in our jobs. Work was given as a gift and is part of our design.
