Introducing Morbidology and the case of the 2022 Raleigh Shootings

On the evening of 13th October 2022, in the Hedingham neighbourhood of northeast Raleigh, North Carolina, residents heard shots. Those who stepped outside saw a figure moving through the quiet suburban streets - dressed head to toe in camouflage, carrying a long gun, walking with slow and deliberate purpose through a neighbourhood he had known his entire life. Nobody who saw him that evening could have known what he had already done.
