Persecution of Christians worldwide is at an all-time high, with over 360 million Christians (1 in 7 worldwide) experiencing high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith. Nigeria is considered one of the most dangerous places in the world for Christians, number 7 on Open Doors World Watch List. People debate whether this is a genocide, but whether it is or not, Nigerian Christians are dying in record numbers. Meanwhile, the world does not pay much attention. "Persecution" may not yet have come to the West, though this can be debated, but certainly "harassment" of Christians has come to the West with manifold examples throughout Europe, Canada, and some in the U.S. Believers should pray, become informed, support helping Christian agencies, and learn how to respond to harassment and persecution when it comes, because as we approach or experience the end of days, it will come.
