To accommodate the 2026 ⁠BMO Vancouver Marathon⁠ (May 3, 2026), the regional transit authority ⁠TransLink⁠ is significantly increasing service levels across its ⁠bus⁠, ⁠SkyTrain⁠, and ⁠SeaBus ⁠networks. This transportation plan is designed to support over 25,000 participants and thousands of spectators traveling to various race start points, including Queen Elizabeth Park and Stanley Park. Numerous bus detours will be in effect to navigate extensive road closures throughout the city.
