Christina Formella faces more than 50 felony charges related to allegations that she groomed and sexually abused a teenage boy when she was a special education teacher at South Downers Grove High School in Illinois. Following her arrest in March, the DuPage State's Attorney said his office was aware of one sexual encounter between the boy and Formella in her classroom. At a hearing in June, prosecutors said there were more than 45 encounters.
