Episode Description
Order up! Sarah Genao, aka @just2good on YouTube, joins Andrew and Peyton to talk about the A24 Anthony Bourdain movie ‘Tony’ in a new episode of Cinephomaniacs.
Directed by Matt Johnson, ‘Tony’ stars Dominic Sessa (‘The Holdovers’) as a 19-year-old Bourdain who falls in love with cooking during a summer job at a Provincetown lobster restaurant.
Based on Bourdain’s hit memoir ‘Kitchen Confidential’, the main dish comes with a side of Antonio Banderas, Emilia Jones, Leo Woodall, and Stavros Halkias.
Sarah, Peyton, and Andrew also look ahead to upcoming specials like ‘Primetime’ and the lineup at TIFF before going down the menu of new releases (shoutsout ‘The End of Oak Street’)!
To top it all off, enjoy a sampler platter of director Matt Johnson’s filmography, from ‘Nirvanna the Band’ to ‘The Dirties’.
