In this episode, Pastor Gary continues our study of the Apostles' Creed asking the  questions: What does it mean to say, “I believe in the holy church and the fellowship of the saints”? In the scriptures, we discover that the church is neither a building nor an organization, rather it is God’s people. Every follower of Jesus Christ is part of the universal church, connected together as one body in Christ across cultures, nations, and generations. But God has also given us the local church, where we can live out the fellowship of the saints in meaningful, purposeful relationships. In this teaching, we are challenged to move beyond simply attending church and grow from congregation, to community, to the core. In doing so, we are called to love one another, build friendships, serve together, and each do our part to build each other up in the body of Christ.
