On this week’s episode of Ghoulive Screamset Horrortober, Hesse and Will are joined by Tom Sharpling of The Best Show, to break down two horror sequels, one of which could fairly be described as the best movie ever made and the other considerably less heralded.

First up is Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn, a delirious madcap horror comedy or nonstop pratfalls, gore, and ghoulish hilarity featuring the legendary Bruce Campbell as a live action Looney Toon who proves that cartoon violence is still just as funny when it happens to real people.

Then, in Don Coscarelli’s Phantasm II, a mental patient and his uncle (?) go on the road to fight the nefarious “Tall Man”, an alien of some kind who is killing small town America by looting  cemeteries of their corpses and turning the earthly remains of your grandparents into an army of dwarf-slaves.
