1010 - Nobody is in Charge feat. Liz Oliva Fernández (2/12/26)

February 13
1h 26m

Episode Description

This week on Chapo, Will and Felix put on their detective hats to try and solve the kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie. They also talk about the airspace shutdown near El Paso, James Fishback’s war on goyslop, and rave about The Shield. We then interview Havana-based journalist Liz Oliva Fernández of Belly of the Beast, a U.S-based independent media outlet, about the economic siege of Cuba by the United States. We talk about the looming specter of regime change and the collapse of Cuba’s healthcare system and power under the weight of a decades-long blockade.

(NOTE: Liz’s connection was a little spotty so the ending of the interview is a little abrupt.)
