Episode Description
Conas taoi? How are ye? Welcome back to the Candlelit Tales podcast, where we tell Irish myths set to original music.
This episode continues our Fianna Saga the strange tale of an even stranger encounter with the Bodach. This character, the Bodach, appears in stories across Ireland and Scotland, and is usually a trickster of sorts. This time the Bodach comes to the aid of the Fianna, when the fastest man in Ireland couldn't be found to race against a mighty foreign warrior threatening Ireland's freedom.
Please note the content of these stories may be triggering for some listeners, please take care of yourself as you listen. This story contains allusions to coercive control, animal cruelty and animal death, and physical restraint.
