In 1980, Lucasfilm authorized "Christmas in the Stars"—a bizarre holiday album featuring C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), sound effects by Ben Burtt, and a teenage janitor named Jon Bon Jovi. It was meant to be the start of an annual tradition, but thanks to The Bee Gees, the album vanished into obscurity.
In this video, we dig up this lost piece of Star Wars history to find out how George Lucas approved it, why Yoda’s song was cancelled for being "too religious," and how this strange record became a high-value collector's item.
