A 24-year-old male presents to the emergency department with 3 days of “yellow eyes” and generalized fatigue. The patient has no known medical history, no history of surgery, and no family history of hepatobiliary disease. He reports no medication use, does not smoke or drink alcohol, and reports no use of illicit substances. Review of systems is otherwise negative.
