Using simple analogies, he really sheds light on the plastic problem and how bioplastics might not be the best answer (as of now at least). That being said, bioplastics research is still important to tackle this problem. He talks about how he uses bacteria to create bioplastics, the different kinds of bioplastics out there and how they are not all created equal.
