After a brutal long shift, a young doctor collapses into the top bunk he still shares with his brother. Hours later—around 5 a.m.—he wakes with that prickling sense of being watched. At the foot of the lower bunk sits his brother’s girlfriend… or something wearing her face. Perfectly still. Unblinking. Predatory in its silence.

But when he asks his brother the next morning what time she left, the answer is impossible. She’d gone home hours before he saw her...
