She holds a Master's degree in Psychology and Counseling from Antioch University and co-directed the Parents United family sexual abuse treatment program in Santa Fe before transitioning to full-time private practice. Now retired and focused on writing and speaking, she is the author of The Road Home Series, including A Light in the Darkness (Book One), Into the Fire (Book Two), and her most recent book America in Therapy: A New Approach to Hope and Healing for a Nation in Crisis.
