Episode Description
A cure can be alluring – especially when your prognosis is only 6 months. In Mother of Flies, Lena is a young cancer patient who is surrounded by a religious family and community asking her to rely on prayers as her condition becomes more grave. This film also looks at how care becomes a dehumanizing task that can strip someone of autonomy, intentions be damned.
