So the net is abuzz with excited speculation about a doctrinal statement coming from the Vatican next Tuesday about Mary's role in salvation. Millions of Roman Catholics around the world have signed petitions over the past three decades or more requesting the definition of the "Fifth Marian Dogma" that being Mary as Co-Redemptrix, Co-Mediatrix, and Advocate for the people of God.
