We had a great show last night, with a few audio fixes even though our boy Collin glitched via that cellphone coverage out in Texas.

Once you get past that, this was a great show.

Collin, Jose, and Nathan broke down a full week for FC Dallas and North Texas Soccer Club, including a big away win at Real Salt Lake followed by an utter collapse at Vancouver. Was it just a case of hitting weary legs? Was Quill right to rotate? Should we panic? In short, no.

Collin gave us some hints about potential transfer options, as we await confirmation of Deedson’s move away from FC Dallas and the possibility of other players finding new venues. Lots of uncertainty, for sure, but there is a sense that this team wants to get better and plug some holes down the stretch.

North Texas SC meanwhile grabbed 4 points at home, which is solid enough to keep them in the potential postseason picture. They have a huge away match on Friday against St Louis City SC 2. The good news — four home games follow, meaning this team has the potential to pick up points and fight for a spot if they can keep putting it all together.

We closed out with predictions:

Jose and Collin pick North Texas SC to lose at St Louis; I’m hoping for another road point or two.

We are also feeling confident, for the most part, that FC Dallas can get a point or an outright win at St Louis.
