Episode Description
Pripyat Horse is a splinter from a much bigger project. The live footage was shot in Pripyat in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone in 2009.
Sally Pearce made this short piece to express grief for her editor and friend Marianne Kuopanportti Fennell who died in December 2020. The grieving extends out from the very personal to the global. Through this film she also grieves for the earth at a time of climate change and accelerating species extinction.
