Ed Orgeron returns to LSU after leading the team from 2016 to 2021, including a 15-0 run to the 2019 College Football Playoff national championship. He also reunites with Lane Kiffin, who he worked with and for at USC and Tennessee. Both Kiffin and Orgeron have been head coaches at Ole Miss and LSU, respectively. Orgeron will be a special assistant for recruiting and defense on the 2026 LSU coaching staff.
