Episode Description
Have you had “the sex talk” lately? We’re talking about masturbation, “sex talks”, and consent on this week’s episode! If you’re wondering if it’s normal to masturbate before or during mundane tasks or if you’re a parent curious about how to talk to your kids about bodies, sex, and consent, we’ve got you covered. Join us to hear the nuances around being autistic and ADHD, and masturbation and sexual education.
We're answering:
- is masturbating as a relaxation/focus thing without sexual arousal, so just masturbating while doing regular paperwork stuff without being aroused by the paperwork a thing, and is it just a neurodivergent thing or not? I've seen some similar stuff about ADHD and masturbation that maybe supports my specific ponderings, but nothing concrete.
- Hi Aces, I’m an ADHD mom of two young AuDHD kids and I don’t know where to begin with the sex talk. I believe masturbation is normal and healthy but I have no idea when to tell them that or how much instruction I’m supposed to give? My family didn’t talk about these things and I don’t have any examples of how to do this. What do you two think?
