In the past 2 years, ILUKA’s career has taken off with a string of viral songs that have quickly landed her a cult following. Her signature style comes with raspy vocals — a hint of cowgirl twang belted over pop anthems shaken together to make her own unique musical cocktail. ILUKA isn’t afraid to be outspoken, share her feelings, let out a little rage, or get weird. This unabashed honesty underscores her artistry as she stretches the boundaries of pop with blunt lyrics sweetened by disarmingly catchy songcraft and a bewitching aesthetic. After amassing millions of streams and earning acclaim from FLAUNT, MUNDANE, ROLLING STONE, NME, and more, the Australia-born and Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and disruptor amplifies her vision as loudly as possible on her 2025 full-length album, The Wild, The Innocent, and The Raging.
ILUKA grew up on a farm in the Blue Mountains of Australia, where her dad handcrafted guitars as an accomplished luthier. His handmade guitars were more than instruments—they were the foundation of her sonic journey. She learned songwriting early on and drew inspiration from the likes of Kate Bush, David Bowie, and Queen, among others. From the start, ILUKA has been driven by a singular vision to create brave music. Her songs are both vulnerable in their storytelling and memorable in their protest.
