Jesus was affirmed by the Father through mighty works, signs, and wonders. Lawless men crucified Him under the sovereignty of God. The free will of man could never stop the perfect will of God.

Through the resurrection, Christ robbed the grave and defeated death, leaving us with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
